Cost and Marketing
As well as selling the drone we also sell additional batteries and offer training on using the drone. We will also provide a yearly service, which is highly recommended. The first year is free.

Our main strategy will be to directly contact the search and rescue teams researched in the competitor review section.

The sale cost per drone is calculated below. We assume a 30% discount on components when mass-producing. We also assume 1000 drones will be manufactured when calculating the cost of development.

This results in a total cost of £532.33 per drone. We will sell each drone for £745. This means approximately £212 profit per drone excluding additional services.

Training is required to use our drone. If someone uses the drone without training, the warranty will become void. Training will be a comprehensive 3-hour course. Up to 8 people can be in a training group at once. Training will cost £150 per group, with a 50% off discount if bought alongside an order of drones. If more than 10 drones are ordered, two free training sessions will be offered.
